“Up to 93% of communication is non verbal” – Vanessa Van Edwards

Have you ever spent countless hours crafting a presentation to make sure you get the words just right? Well, you might not know that the words you speak are only a small portion of your overall communication and message.

Research has shown that 60-93% of our communication is through body language. The good news is that just as we can practice the words we say, we can improve our body language as well.

In today’s episode, we are going to learn what we can do to master our body language so that we make the first impression that we want to make.

Vanessa Van Edwards is a speaker, author, and researcher at the Science of People. She has spent more than a decade studying body language and conducting experiments in social dynamics, and her innovative work has been featured on NPR, Business Week and CNN.

Vanessa has clearly taken what she has learned into practice, as she is amazingly energetic, insightful, and has just the right thing to say at each moment.

Make sure you listen to the whole episode, because we do a coaching activity that will help guide you to exactly where you want to be with first impressions.

We will also get a sneak peak into Vanessa’s latest research on happiness, and how we can get more!
